You'll be responsible for applying joint compound, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to create a polished look that transforms interior spaces. Duties Apply joint compound (mud) to drywall seams, corners, and fasteners with speed and accuracy Sand and smooth finished surfaces to achieve a seamless appearance ready for painting or finishing Tape drywall joints using various taping techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Install corner beads and trim to enhance wall edges and corners for a professional finish Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute finishing details Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards Perform touch-ups and repairs on drywall surfaces as needed during the finishing process Skills Strong knowledge of drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for precise application Familiarity with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and fixture installation Ability to work confidently on construction sites with experience in framing, masonry, flooring installation, and remodeling projects Skilled in handling tools such as taping knives, sanders, stilts, scaffolding, and airless paint sprayers Knowledge of water damage restoration practices, mold remediation basics, and general handyman skills is a plus Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and understand project specifications This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to hone their craft in a vibrant construction environment.
