Your expertise will help create inspiring spaces, ensuring every detail meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties Apply joint compound, tape, and finishing techniques to drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, even finish. Sand and prepare drywall surfaces for painting or further finishing work, ensuring a flawless appearance. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine finishing specifications. Install drywall panels, metal studs, and trim carpentry components with precision and efficiency. Perform caulking, plastering, and stucco applications to seal joints and create seamless surfaces. Assist with fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, and other related tasks as needed. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other trades to ensure cohesive project progress and quality standards. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with drywall finishing or related trades such as plastering or carpentry. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions for accurate project execution. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret project plans effectively. Hands-on experience with water damage restoration, mold remediation, or the restoration industry is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, airless paint sprayers, tile laying tools, and other finishing equipment. Background in framing carpentry, metal stud framing, or remodeling projects enhances your versatility.
