E. McNamara is a luxury custom home builder and commercial general contractor serving Western New York. We specialize in luxury custom homes, large-scale renovations, commercial construction, additions, and highly detailed projects requiring exceptional craftsmanship. We are carpenters by trade and self-perform a wide range of carpentry scopes. We are looking for experienced Drywall Finishers to join our growing team. Opportunities are available for experienced field leaders as well as skilled carpenters looking to grow within the organization.

Drywall Finisher Responsibilities:

Finish drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready condition. Apply joint compound to seams, corners, and fasteners. Tape and mud drywall joints according to project specifications. Sand finished surfaces to achieve a smooth appearance. Repair cracks, holes, and damaged drywall as needed. Install and finish corner bead and trim components. Match existing textures and finishes for repair work. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and jobsite requirements. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades. Meet project schedules and productivity expectations. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Drywall finishing experience required Leadership experience preferred for leadership positions Experience in luxury residential construction and/or commercial construction preferred Ability to read plans and perform field layout Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Strong work ethic and accountability Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and subcontractors Employee must provide their own hand tools and transportation

Physical Requirements:
