The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction techniques, roofing systems, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring proper drainage solutions that protect structures from water damage. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, safety awareness, and a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Measure and assess job sites to determine the appropriate gutter system specifications Install gutters, downspouts, and related components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying sealants to ensure secure attachment Perform heavy lifting of materials such as gutters, framing components, and related supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed throughout all phases of installation Conduct quality checks to verify proper alignment, secure fastening, and functional drainage Assist in demolition or removal of old gutter systems as needed for remodeling or restoration projects Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning Experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, and masonry techniques Knowledge of roofing systems, flashing, caulking, and trim carpentry practices Familiarity with schematics, schematics interpretation, and metal fabrication processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites Strong understanding of plumbing principles relevant to gutter drainage systems Prior experience in restoration or remodeling projects is advantageous Skilled in the use of scaffolding or working at heights when necessary Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in installation procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse construction environments This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and outdoor craftsmanship.
