As a vital part of our construction network, you will bring expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to every job site. Your expertise in painting techniques, surface preparation, and construction processes will help transform spaces and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and surface specifications Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision while adhering to safety standards on construction sites Perform finishing tasks including trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco application, masonry work, drywall repair, and restoration work as needed Operate construction equipment such as scaffolding, lifts, power sanders, and welding tools safely and efficiently Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects within scope and budget Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, industrial painting or renovation projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating materials Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and color theory application for design consistency Skilled in using hand tools including caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, power tools, and specialized equipment like airless sprayers Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, drywall finishing or restoration is highly desirable Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for fixture installation or renovation plans Knowledge of construction site safety protocols along with handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous Valid experience in maintenance tasks such as concrete finishing or welding enhances versatility on the job site Join us as a Painting Subcontractor if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
