Maintenance - Residential

Bertolucci Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Handyman or Maintenance Person with experience in full renovation of apartments, multi-family, and single-family homes. Local, family owned, residential contractor providing professional remodeling solutions since 1976 is seeking a skilled Handyman or Maintenance Person to join our team. Essential Functions Conduct basic maintenance on various rental units while being mindful of basic Landlord-Tenant laws. To include repairing plumbing fixtures, light repairs throughout the interior and exterior of units as well as scheduling repairs with tenants and coordinating subcontractors or vendors when needed. Job Skills and Qualifications MUST have knowledge of work safety procedures and the ability to perform work in a safe manner within safety regulations. Advanced technical and problem-solving abilities a must. Being able to multi-task as there will be stops and starts at each job. Working knowledge in drywall repair, plumbing repair and fixtures installation, electrical experience, light appliance repair, interior painting and other interior repairs and maintenance as necessary. This position will primarily focus on full interior turn, or "make ready," and the right candidate will need to have at least three years of hands-on experience preferred. This is an active role with constant moving and standing for extended periods, standing, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 80 pounds and navigating tight spaces. Additional Requirements This is a full-time, non-exempt position; Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and a valid driver's license are a must. Impeccable attendance is imperative .
