This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing clean, high‑quality final surfaces. You'll be responsible for smoothing, patching, sanding, and preparing surfaces to ensure they're ready for paint, texture, or final installation. Your work is the last step before the final product is revealed, so precision matters. Key Responsibilities Perform drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing Repair imperfections, dents, cracks, and seams to create smooth surfaces Apply finishing materials such as joint compound, plaster, or texture coatings Inspect work areas to ensure surfaces meet quality standards Operate finishing tools and equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with painters, carpenters, and other trades as needed Qualifications Experience as a finisher (drywall, plaster, or similar trade) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, or project plans Good physical stamina and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Knowledge of finishing tools and materials Preferred Skills Experience with various textures (knockdown, orange peel, smooth finish) Ability to match existing textures in repair work Basic carpentry or painting experience Familiarity with commercial job sites What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, year‑round work Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Health insurance, 401
