• Job Description
• This role supports commercial construction projects by assisting with metal stud framing, drywall hanging and finishing, and related rough carpentry tasks.

The Commercial Framer Helper works closely with a box truck driver to transport materials and equipment between job sites and interacts professionally with clients, contractors, and onsite personnel to help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

• Responsibilities
• + Assist with commercial metal stud framing, including measuring, cutting, and installing metal studs according to project specifications.

+ Support drywall hanging activities by safely lifting, positioning, and securing drywall panels on walls and ceilings. + Perform drywall finishing tasks, including taping, mudding, and sanding to prepare surfaces for painting or final finishes. + Help load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for transport to and from commercial construction sites. + Partner with the box truck driver to ensure materials and equipment arrive at the correct job sites in a timely and organized manner. + Use a tape measure accurately to mark, cut, and verify dimensions for framing, drywall, and rough carpentry work. + Assist with rough carpentry tasks such as installing doors and related hardware as directed. + Support painting preparation and basic painting tasks as needed to complete project scopes. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on job sites and in vehicles. + Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and jobsite personnel to coordinate tasks and respond to directions. + Follow all safety procedures, use tools and equipment properly, and comply with jobsite rules and regulations.

• Essential Skills
• + At least 2 years of proven experience in commercial metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and drywall finishing.

+ Hands-on experience in commercial construction environments. + Proficiency using a tape measure accurately for layout and verification of measurements. + Practical knowledge of metal stud framing techniques and materials. + Ability to perform drywall hanging and finishing to a professional standard. + Experience with rough carpentry tasks, including work on doors and related components. + Capability to assist with painting and surface preparation. + Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and jobsite personnel. + Ability to work effectively as a helper and support a box truck driver with material and equipment transport.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with acoustical ceilings is a plus. + Experience in commercial framing and drywall within a family-oriented construction environment is beneficial. + Comfort working with a variety of tools and equipment used in framing, drywall, and rough carpentry.

• Pay and Benefits
