In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality gutters to ensure optimal water management for residential and commercial properties. Duties Measure, cut, and assemble gutter components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure precise fitting. Install gutters on various building types, ensuring proper alignment, slope, and secure fastening according to blueprints and schematics. Repair or replace existing gutter systems, including caulking and sealing joints to prevent leaks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute installation projects. Use heavy lifting techniques to handle large materials safely while maintaining a clean and organized work site. Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, roofing, masonry, or other related trades to ensure seamless integration of gutter systems. Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to meet safety standards and client expectations. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and caulking guns; experienced with power tools including drills and saws. Knowledge of roofing techniques, metal stud framing, masonry, stucco, tile laying, welding, plumbing, and restoration work is a plus. Experience with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting practices. Familiarity with fabrication processes for custom gutter components and trim carpentry. Strong background in remodeling projects involving framing carpentry or handyman experience.
