Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable wall surfaces that meet high-quality standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills across multiple construction disciplines, and contribute to the transformation of spaces with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints Finish drywall seams with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a flawless surface Repair or replace damaged drywall sections efficiently while maintaining safety standards Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to ensure proper framing and support for drywall installation Read schematics and blueprints to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications Apply caulking, trim carpentry, or stucco as needed to enhance the finish quality of walls and ceilings Assist with related tasks such as insulation installation, water damage restoration prep, or mold remediation when required Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation within construction sites or remodeling projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material calculations Hands-on experience with related skills such as plastering, carpentry (including frame carpentry), tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of construction plumbing, water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation procedures, and construction painting is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely Valid experience in construction site safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills toward building high-quality structures.
