Job Description
Lead Punch Technician JPI Companies

Finish and Trim Work:
Perform finish and trim carpentry, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, crown moldings, and other decorative elements to enhance interior aesthetics. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with technology, such as project management software or digital measuring tools.Adaptability:
The ability to adjust to changing project requirements or unexpected challenges is vital for maintaining workflow and meeting deadlines.Leadership:
Experience in mentoring or training Junior Punch Technicians can be beneficial for fostering team growth and maintaining high standards.Quality Assurance:
Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Collaboration:
Work closely with other construction workers and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide timely updates, and address any concerns that may arise during the project.Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.Experience:
At least three years of experience in carpentry, Drywall, Tape bed, and texture with a focus on finishes.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings; skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials, climbing, and working at various heights. Attention toDetail:
Exceptional precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.Problem-solving:
Strong analytical skills to address challenges and find practical solutions on the job.Communication:
