State Venture LLC is seeking experienced, highly skilled Commercial Buildout Technicians to join our growing in-house construction team. This position is hands-on and will support full-scope tenant improvement projects across our portfolio of office and retail properties. From rough-in to final finishes, you will play a key role in delivering turnkey commercial spaces on time and to spec. You will be working alongside a crew of 13 and will report to the Construction Supervisor or Project Manager depending on project scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform interior buildout work including framing, drywall hanging & finishing, taping, and painting Install and repair flooring, baseboards, doors, cabinetry, and finish carpentry Execute basic plumbing tasks including fixture installs and rough-ins Perform light electrical such as outlet installs, switch replacements, and fixture wiring Assist with HVAC coordination and installation support as needed Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and layout plans Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols Collaborate with subcontractors when required and maintain consistent communication with the Houston office Deliver work to a professional standard with a strong emphasis on quality and deadlines

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience Proficiency in multiple trades : drywall, finish carpentry, flooring, basic electrical, basic plumbing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with office and retail buildouts preferred Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in active construction environments Strong work ethic and attention to detail
