Job Description
Reconstruction / Demolition Crew Members Needed!! A growing emergency property damage restoration company specializing in water, fire/smoke and mold remediation has an opening for reconstruction/demolition crew members.
Job Requirements:
- Able to stand, sit, crawl, climb ladders, etc… for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 60lbs
- Familiarity/proficiency with using hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to competently read a tape measure
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours if necessary
- 1+ years construction experience preferred
Key Skills:
- Demolition, preparation, and reconstruction of damaged structures.
- Framing/rough carpentry
- Measuring, cutting, and installing drywall.
- Mud, tape, and texture.
- Measuring, cutting, and installing trim
- Paint, caulk, and finish.
- Flooring installation (Carpet, Tile, LVP)
- Cabinet and countertop installation
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for repair by removing nails and adhesive, scraping, sanding, etc.
- Take accurate measurements for a variety of circumstances and materials
- Precisely cut and install a variety of materials, including framing lumber, drywall, finish trim, etc.
- Use established techniques to apply professional finishes using mud, texture, paint, and caulk, etc.
- Track and execute a punch list
- Manage and track material inventory. Pick up additional materials when necessary.
- Identify items outside of scope and budget incursions.
- Communicate daily about progress on job sites.
- Safely operate a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete tasks in a punch list.
- Work together with a crew to efficiently distribute labor and complete projects.
- Load in and load out of the jobsite every day, keeping tools and materials organized.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Maintain a professional and workman-like manner, demonstrating respect for our customers and their homes.
