Drywall Mechanic

Overview Join our team as a Drywall Mechanic and help transform spaces through expert drywall installation, finishing, and repair. You'll work on a variety of commercial and residential projects, contributing to high-quality, durable results in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall per project plans Tape, mud, sand, and texture surfaces for a smooth finish Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Coordinate with other trades for efficient workflow New installation and remodeling work as available Install fixtures such as electrical boxes, vents, and trim Use tools and equipment safely and effectively Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing Ability to read blueprints and schematics Skills in plastering, carpentry, metal framing, and trim work preferred Strong understanding of job site safety and procedures Additional experience in caulking, tile, stucco, painting, masonry is a plus Solid problem-solving skills and general construction experience

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
