Professional Post-Construction Cleaning Specialist (1099 Independent Contractor)Job Overview Join our growing team as a Professional Post-Construction Cleaning Specialist and help transform newly built and renovated properties into clean, move-in-ready spaces. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented independent contractors who take pride in delivering exceptional results. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll work on a variety of residential and commercial post-construction cleaning projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play an important role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take satisfaction in leaving every space spotless, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform thorough post-construction cleaning for residential and commercial properties. Remove construction dust, debris, stickers, and other materials left behind after building or renovation. Clean kitchens, bathrooms, windows, floors, baseboards, fixtures, and other surfaces to move-in-ready standards. Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and complete detailed final cleaning tasks. Work independently or collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently. Follow company quality standards and all applicable safety procedures. Document completed work and submit required job photos using a smartphone. What You'll Need Proof of Workers' Compensation and General Liability Insurance . A reliable vehicle with the ability to travel to job sites throughout the central Virginia area. A smartphone for scheduling, GPS navigation, communication, and uploading job photos. The physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, bend, kneel, stand, and remain active throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow detailed cleaning specifications. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in post-construction cleaning, residential or commercial cleaning, or renovation cleaning. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A dependable work ethic, reliability, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines. Experience using professional cleaning equipment and products is a plus.
