This is a full-time W-2 position for a highly skilled remodeling professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and delivering exceptional results for homeowners. This role is ideal for an experienced remodeler who can independently complete high-quality work, lead portions of projects, mentor team members, and serve as a trusted representative of our company on job sites. Our projects include kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, basement finishing, additions, whole-home renovations, and custom residential improvements throughout the DMV area. For more details and a message from our team, please visit the following link for a short video about this position: https://youtu.be/1W4qy6xFb_M What You'll Do Lead and perform residential remodeling and renovation work from start to finish. Complete advanced carpentry, framing, drywall, trim, cabinet installation, and finish work with minimal supervision. Interpret project plans, scopes of work, and construction drawings. Coordinate daily activities with project managers and other team members. Train, mentor, and support junior remodeling specialists and apprentices. Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining project quality and schedule. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project progress and job site expectations. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and building code requirements. Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites. Perform punch-list completion and quality-control inspections. Assist with material planning, job-site logistics, and project preparation. Support plumbing, electrical, tile, flooring, and specialty installations as needed based on experience and qualifications. QualificationsRequired 5+ years of residential remodeling, renovation, carpentry, or construction experience. Strong working knowledge of residential construction methods and best practices. Proven experience in framing, drywall, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and finish work. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project specifications. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Preferred Experience leading crews or supervising job-site activities. Experience with kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. Knowledge of residential plumbing and electrical systems. Experience with tile installation, flooring, custom carpentry, and finish details. Construction safety knowledge. Experience using project management software, digital plans, or construction documentation systems.
