Construction plans Drywall installation First Aid Certification Construction industry experience Following blueprint specifications Full Job Description SGLZ is seeking experienced Commercial/Federal Drywall Finishers to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals with experience in commercial construction who take pride in producing high-quality work. Our projects include commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, multifamily developments, government buildings, military installations, and secure federal facilities throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Responsibilities Tape, bed, and finish drywall joints Apply and sand joint compound to achieve specified finish levels Perform Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes Patch, repair, and match existing finishes Install corner bead, trim, and finishing accessories Operate drywall finishing tools and equipment Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards Follow company safety policies and project-specific requirements Coordinate with foremen and project supervisors Requirements Minimum 3 years of commercial drywall finishing experience Experience on commercial, healthcare, multifamily, government, or federal projects preferred Ability to read drawings and understand finish requirements Reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts Must have basic drywall finishing tools Security & Background Requirements Many of our projects are located on active military bases and secure federal facilities.
