Job Description

Overview In search of a residential electrical helper with a minimum of 1 years experience in the trade. Responsibilities Support licensed electricians by preparing work areas, handling tools, and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites. Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems following blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Use hand tools and power tools to help run wiring, conduit, and fixtures while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Help with testing electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and ensure proper functioning of low voltage and high voltage systems. Maintain a clean work environment, organize tools and equipment, and follow all safety guidelines related to construction and electrical work. Requirements Must have prior experience working with electricians or in construction site environments. Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and basic electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters. Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations is essential. Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately.
