Basic Job Functions:
The EAF 3rd Helper is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the furnace at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Performing minor maintenance repairs + Performing regular equipment inspections + Operating forklifts, cranes, bobcats, man lifts and other equipment + Taking steel and slag samples and preparing and analyzing slag + Working as a team to clean and organize the furnace deck [[cust_safetyState]]
