Full‑Time Position Summary Chapman Electrical Contracting, Inc. is seeking a dependable and skilled Pipe Runner to support industrial electrical installations. This position plays a critical role in preparing and installing conduit systems, assisting electricians, and ensuring job sites remain organized, efficient, and compliant with safety standards. Candidates must have experience working in industrial environments and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Conduit Installation — Measure, cut, bend, and install various types of conduit (EMT, RMC, IMC, PVC, etc.) according to project specifications. Material Handling — Transport, stage, and organize conduit, fittings, tools, and equipment for electricians and foremen. Site Preparation — Assist with layout, trenching, mounting supports, and preparing pathways for conduit runs. Support for Electricians — Work closely with journeymen and apprentices to ensure timely and accurate installation of electrical systems. Safety Compliance — Follow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies; maintain a clean and hazard‑free work area. Quality Assurance — Ensure conduit runs are level, secure, and installed to meet project and industry standards. Minimum Qualifications Experience running conduit in industrial electrical environments . Ability to read basic drawings, follow layout instructions, and work under the direction of field leadership. Proficiency with conduit benders, hand tools, power tools, and material‑handling equipment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large‑scale industrial facilities or heavy commercial projects. Familiarity with advanced bending techniques and complex conduit routing. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
