Electrical Apprentice

POSITION SUMMARY

Thompson Electrics is seeking a dependable Electrician Helper to support industrial and commercial electrical projects. This role works directly under experienced electricians to assist with conduit installation, wire pulling, equipment setup, and job site preparation. This is a hands-on position designed for individuals building a long-term career in the electrical trade. You will gain exposure to large-scale industrial environments including facilities, plants, and commercial job sites while developing core trade skills.

OBJECTIVES

Assist with conduit installation (measuring, cutting, staging materials) Support wire pulling operations using fish tape and basic tools Help stage and install electrical equipment Maintain tools, materials, and job site organization Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements Learn electrical systems, terminology, and job site workflow Represent Thompson Electric's core values in every interaction: Safety, Teamwork, Growth Mindset, Respect, Quality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 0-2

years in construction, labor, or trades No electrical experience required (preferred but not necessary) High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Valid Driver's License; Reliable Transportation Submission to Background;

Drug Screens Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
