LSI STAFFING SEEKING PAINTER HELPER FOR MCPHERSON MANUFACTURING COMPANY

! As a Painter Helper/Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the paint team by performing various tasks and duties as directed. Your responsibilities include preparing items and components for painting, assisting with assembly, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, helping to load and distribute materials, operate tools, and maintain good housekeeping practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Load, unload, and distribute building materials, machinery, and tools as per project plans. + Assist in preparing items for painting, including sanding, masking, and other techniques, under close guidance. + Utilize common hand and power tools during assembly. + Maintain cleanliness in work areas and adhere to safety practices. + Read and interpret basic blueprints. + Operate overhead crane and forklift. + Ensure a safe work site, store supplies and equipment, and follow safety rules. + Exhibit a strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

Knowledge of:

+ Trade tools, equipment, materials, tape measure, and staple gun. + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. + Meeting schedules and maintaining routine records.

Qualifications:

+ Valid Driver's License or Forklift Operator's License. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements:

+ Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

Shift:

7:00AM TO 3:30PM, Monday thru Friday.
