Job Description:

Syvex Systems is looking for a dependable Helper Technician to assist with low-voltage and retail installation projects. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, reliable, and comfortable working overnight in active store environments. The Helper Technician will support lead technicians with installation work, material handling, cleanup, and general job site assistance. One of the key responsibilities of this role is acting as a spotter for lift operation while equipment is being driven through stores, so attention to safety and surroundings is critical.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead technicians with low-voltage and installation tasks Carry, organize, and stage tools and materials Spot lift operators while driving through stores and work areas Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team Support overnight retail and commercial project work Perform other general helper duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must have basic hand tools Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Must be comfortable working overnight shifts Must be able to follow direction and maintain awareness on active job sites Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Ability to stand, walk, lift materials, and work on your feet for extended periods Preferred but not required: Prior construction, low-voltage, or retail installation experience Experience working around ladders, lifts, or job site equipment Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
