Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate installations. Help with the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to ensure proper electrical connections and troubleshoot issues. Support the preparation of construction sites by framing carpentry and organizing materials for electrical work. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working around high voltage or low voltage systems. Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading. Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills for troubleshooting electrical issues. Physical ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Valid driver's license is required; previous construction site experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
