Summer Laborer

Description Stephens College seeks a Laborer to assist with various projects in our Facilities Department. This is a temporary, summer position: 5/18/26 - 8/21/26

Responsibilities:

Pick up supplies from various venders Jobsite demolition, setup and cleanup Heavy lifting involved with cleaning out buildings, moving furniture, etc. Operate a variety of hand and power tools as needed. Loading, unloading and delivering materials Perform daily tasks safely in accordance with company policies Assist with other Facilities areas when needed; grounds, custodial, warehouse Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Education/Skill Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and/or 1-2 years experience Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions. Must have valid driver's license. Must pass criminal background check.

Work Conditions:

Work is performed inside under office or shop conditions with daily exposure to dust, noise, heat, and odors.

Work requires:

Frequent lifting materials up to 80 lbs Continuous standing; kneeling; stooping.
