ABOUT THE ROLE
Frontier Electric Services is looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Electrician to join our commercial team in the Columbus, OH area. If you're building real skills in the trade and ready to take the next step under the guidance of experienced journeymen and foremen on real commercial job sites — Frontier is the place to grow. This is a hands-on field role where you'll work alongside our crew on commercial projects ranging from new construction to renovation. We're not just looking for someone to fill a spot — we're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in the craft.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist journeymen and foremen with rough-in wiring on commercial construction and renovation projects Run and install conduit — EMT, rigid, and flexible — under supervision Support installation of light fixtures, devices, and electrical equipment Help prepare jobsites and systems for electrical inspections Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies Collaborate with the crew and other trades on active jobsites
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year apprenticeship program Demonstrated hands-on experience in commercial electrical work Mechanically inclined with a strong willingness to continue learning Comfortable working at heights and in various jobsite environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-first attitude Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
