Gate Operator Technician

Brabham Fence company is expanding, and we are looking for an Gate Operator Installer. This position will primarily install and service various gate openers, closures and drop arm barriers. This will include such tasks as forming and pouring small concrete pads, running conduit, pulling wire, making electrical connections, setting up keypads, operating chop saws and concrete cutters and other general tasks related to installation and maintenance of gate operator equipment. To be considered for this position you must have the following

Abilities:

Experience with low voltage and standard electrical circuits as applicable to entry control equipment Have a clean 3-year driving record and drive for the company Read a tape measure, operate basic hand tools and power tools Read plans or drawing to layout installations Bend, kneel, lift heavy objects and carry them around the job site Comply with safety regulations and guidelines Preferred candidates would have the additional abilities: Excellent customer service and leadership ability Prior knowledge of fence installation and materials Operate gas powered augers, saws and electric coring drills Knowledge of data wiring and communication cables Able to troubleshoot issues and resolve them Maintain a great attitude and manor with the team and customer Must be able to work in the US for any employer We need someone who is dependable, motivated, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Experience in gate systems is a plus, but candidates with electrical, low-voltage, or wiring backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
