Key Responsibilities:
Assisting Technicians:
Support electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems (lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, motors).
Material Preparation:
Measure, cut, and bend conduit (pipe) and wire using hand tools.
Site Maintenance:
Clean work areas, manage tools, and organize materials.
Installation Tasks:
Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and install hangers and supports.
System Testing:
Help identify electrical issues by testing circuits and inspecting components for faulty wiring.
Physical Labor:
Pull wire through conduit, drill holes, and operate equipment such as hoists or trenchers.
