Electrical Apprentice

[Leapros] Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrical Apprentice in Dallas, TX. The Electrical Apprentice will assist with the removal and reinstallation of electrical panels for a contract project in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical trades, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work in environments with potential shock and arc flash risks.

Per Hour BOE Responsibilities:

Remove electrical panels carefully to facilitate site operations. Reinstall electrical panels ensuring proper fit, alignment, and security. Monitor job site conditions for potential shock hazards and arc flash risks. Maintain and inspect required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) daily. Assist with the organization and transport of electrical tools and materials. Follow specific safety protocols regarding non-melting clothing and gear. Utilize cut-resistant gloves and manual tools to handle panels with sharp edges. Collaborate with the project team to ensure all tasks are completed safely and on schedule.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working as an apprentice in the electrical or MEP trade. Knowledge of safety procedures related to shock hazards and arc flash protection. Ability to provide and wear required PPE, including

ANSI Z87.1

safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves. Experience using hand tools for the installation and removal of electrical components. Reliable transportation to project sites in the Dallas, TX area. Commitment to wearing non-melting cotton long sleeves and EH-rated work boots as required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, push, and pull electrical panels and heavy equipment. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods during panel installation. High degree of manual dexterity to handle tools and small hardware. Ability to work in long sleeves and full PPE in various indoor or outdoor environments. Must be able to wear a hard hat and safety glasses for the duration of the shift. Excellent hand-eye coordination to safely manage panels with sharp edges.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $35 to $40 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
