Residential Electrician Apprentice

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks at residential homes, contributing to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This position requires a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage wiring. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during construction projects. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues using voltmeters and ohmmeters. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Qualifications Previous experience (2y+) or coursework related to electrical work is preferred but not required. Familiarity with residential site environments is beneficial. Basic knowledge of electrical principles and terminology is a plus. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
