MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE
•Overview We are seeking a dedicated Electrician Helper to join our Commerical Door installation team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and foundational electrical knowledge. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in both industrial and commercial electrical environments, contributing to safe and efficient project execution. Responsibilities Assist Install technicians with electrical connections, low voltage, and motor operations. Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to ensure proper wiring and circuit functionality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate installation work. Help with the assembly of electrical components following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols. Assist in the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to safety guidelines. Prepare work areas by framing carpentry or other structural tasks necessary for electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time, supporting the overall construction process with reliability and professionalism. Experience Previous experience working in the industrial or commercial construction sites or in industrial or commercial electrical environments is preferred. Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is essential. Experience with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, or NEC compliance is highly advantageous. Knowledge of using testing instruments such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits is desirable. Familiarity with framing carpentry or related construction tasks will be considered a plus. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining safety standards is required. Prior exposure to working with electricians on projects involving electrical experience across diverse settings will strengthen candidacy. This position emphasizes safety, technical growth, and teamwork within a professional environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship in electrical work.
