We have a strong commitment to providing "Home Comfort" through sales, installation, and service of Heating and Cooling Systems, Energy Efficient Windows, Doors, Plumbing, and Electrical . Washington Energy Services is currently hiring to fill the position of Electrical Assistant in our Fife location. The Electrical Assistant will work one on one with a licensed electrician and assist in all aspects of the installation.
Responsibilities:
Support/Complete installation of electrical components for HVAC and other related products which include: Residential panels and services upgrade and install Furnace Fireplaces Air Conditioners Heat Pumps Air Quality Products Emergency Generators Lighting/Power outlets Appliance Outlets Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and improve skills Take directions and instruction from Licensed Electricians Following company guidelines for safety, handbook requirements, timecards and any other management policies. Maintain team atmosphere and be willing and ready to help on other job sites as necessary. Always putting the customer first.
Job Duties:
Assist with Loading/unloading/restocking of truck with necessary equipment/materials to complete day's jobs. Set up and take down job sites upon arrival and at end of day Keep truck organized, clean, and ready for work. Participate in proper set up and protection at job sites to ensure a safe worksite and customer satisfaction. Involved in reviewing the scope of work with customers and demonstrating equipment. Work with other trades on site to ensure smooth jobs and completions Construction and fabrication of electrical/wiring components. Running proper wiring/conduit which may include removal of drywall Proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials in company dumpsters Daily Electrical Job Log documentation. Inventory control to avoid wasting product
Qualifications & Abilities:
Ability to work well under the direction of the Journeyman Electrician Take instruction and coaching Eagerness to learn Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and dexterity High standard of integrity and professionalism Excellent customer service skills Can work with a team and independently Good analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to use power tools, hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Providing personal hand tools for the trade Ability to drive a company vehicle
Requirements:
Electrical Trainee Card (WA State) Good driving record and a valid driver's license High School diploma or Equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements:
75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools. Ability to lift 100 or more pounds multiple times a day/hold 100 or more pounds for a period of time. Comfortable working in extreme environmental conditions including but not limited to: Wet and humid weather, working near mechanical or moving parts, working on a ladder or roof, working in extreme cold or heat, in and around electrical, explosive or toxic conditions with the risk of shock, explosions and/or inhalation of particles and fumes. Compensation/Other Pay range is $22.00•26.00 per hour. Pay range is based on experience and trainee hours logged. Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Life/STD/LTD benefit package for team members and family 401K plan with a match of 50% of the first 4% Company provided uniforms Paid time off•Team members will accrue 80 hours of PTO in their first year. Six (6) paid holidays If offered a position all prospective employees are required to undergo a background check, driving check, and complete a drug test.

$22.00•$26.00 per hour
