Competitive Hourly Rate + Daily Overtime + Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team at a local North Idaho mining facility. This isn't a standard 9-to-5; we need a proactive problem-solver who thrives in an industrial environment and values having half the year off. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum operational uptime and safety.Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.Infrastructure:
Install and maintain high-voltage power distribution systems (underground and/or surface).Safety First:
Conduct all work in strict accordance with MSHA regulations and company safety protocols. Pre employment Drug and Alchohol Screening is mandatory and subject to Random tests.Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.Required Qualifications Licensing:
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience; mining or heavy industrial experience is highly preferred.Knowledge:
Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.Physicality:
Ability to work in varied conditions (underground or surface), lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/climb for extended periods.Certifications:
