This role will sit fully onsite and may offer relocation for the right candidate. This position will operate under a CBA with the Teamsters 959 Union. Job Description:
Performs repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing commercial and industrial electrical/electronic systems, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Testing, installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of electrical equipment, such as generators, ATS, UPS, transformers, switchboards, controllers, door operators, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, IR scans or other transmission equipment. Performs fire alarm system and nurse call systems testing and maintenance. Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces and the workshop. Assist maintenance teams. Solely identify and resolve failures/alarms related to critical building equipment.Required:
Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Completed certified apprenticeship program preferred. 1-2 years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance of fire doors and security alarm systems. Ability to pass a background and drug screening. Valid Alaska driver's license. Must remain in good stand with the local Teamster 959 Union.
