In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations that meet all safety standards and building codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and allow you to make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Work on construction sites or renovation projects ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for both low voltage and high voltage systems. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with high voltage systems and ensure all work adheres to OSHA regulations. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople such as frame carpenters or general handymen to complete projects efficiently. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments. Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage wiring practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other electrical testing equipment. Experience working on construction sites or during renovation projects with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately; experience with PLC programming is a plus. Familiarity with construction framing carpentry or handyman skills is advantageous for versatile project support. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
