Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Scope:
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Electricians who will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems, including low and high-voltage applications, schematics, and NEC standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and blueprint reading. This position offers an opportunity to work on renovation projects, and ongoing maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoots and maintains relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices, and electrical measuring devices. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system repairs. Maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes. Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before failures occur. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes; maintain a safe work environment on construction sites or plant facilities. Performs Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Understands and follows the company Lock/Out Tag/Out procedures. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and recommend corrective actions Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment and tooling
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade school training preferred 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong multicraft OR electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Comfortable working independently on night shift with minimal supervision
