Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is currently recruiting for a skilled 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Journeyman for our partner in Leeds, AL. The Maintenance Journeyman is responsible for daily preventive maintenance such as general electrical work, machine repair, completion of work orders on plant equipment; Troubleshooting and repairing equipment. The Maintenance Journeyman must be able to read/interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Must be able to maintain 480/240 Volt 3 phase power distribution systems and install, troubleshoot and repair PLC's. The Maintenance Journeyman will be responsible for moving and setting up equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Maintain 480/240 Volt 3 phase MCC and power distribution systems Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair PLC and/or DCS hardware. Replace limit, proximity and photo switches.
Must have:
5+ years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Associates Degree, trade or technical school diploma and/or journeymans card in related trade Must have good math skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, use decimals and fractions. Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with equipment operation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ambassador Personnel, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
$34.00 - $39.00 per hour
