As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and other related activities to ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial electrical systems. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports and maintenance logs. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of NEC standards. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately; familiarity with schematic symbols is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, including NEC compliance for high voltage applications. Experience working as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is a plus; handyman or general construction experience is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues efficiently.
