Licensed Journeyman Electrician (North Dakota)

Overview Tradeco Construction is currently seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a large scale Data Center project in North Dakota. Pay rate is $60/HR. You must have a current North Dakota journeyman license or one from a state that reciprocates, such as Arkansas. Current work schedule is roughly 60-70 hours per week, typically 6 days per week. Per diem available. Must be willing to travel. Duties Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring adherence to NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system performance. Troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely on construction sites or existing facilities. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate installation activities efficiently. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including logs of inspections, repairs, and system modifications. Skills Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage wiring practices. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills), ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into practical installations or repairs. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and efficient project completion. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly. Excellent teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other trades such as frame carpentry or construction crews.
