Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all electrical installations and repairs are completed efficiently and to code. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting. Conduct tests using equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards while performing all electrical work. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications. Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns or hazards. Skills Proficient in building electrical systems for both high voltage and low voltage applications. Experience as a commercial electrician or industrial electrician is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of hand tools used in electrical installations and repairs. Familiarity with frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
