Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. Currently, we are reviewing resumes for Industrial Electricians in Nebraska.

• $56/hr Straight Time
• $55.50/hr Overtime
• $100/day per diem for qualified candidates

Responsibilities :

Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, such as motors, generators, transformers, control panels, switches, transmitters, and sensors. Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the layout and configuration of systems. Perform electrical wiring, connections, and terminations according to electrical codes, standards, and specifications. Test electrical circuits and instrumentation devices using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions to restore equipment to working condition. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to plan and execute electrical and instrumentation projects within specified timelines and budgets. Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on electrical and instrumentation procedures, techniques, and safety practices.

Requirements :

High school or trade school diploma or the equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years experience required. Electrician license required. Industrial experience (SCADA, PLC, Control Automation) preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentational drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Proven experience in leadership preferred. Ability to troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and techniques. Must pass 10-Panel drug screen and background check. CTS offers a comprehensive benefit packet to eligible employees.
