Job Description:
Brunel is currently searching for a Senior Vibration Technician for a 6-month contract project with our mining client located in Miami, Arizona . Flexible package offered, see below. Working in the Reliability Group for this active mine site, the goal of the Vibration Tech will be to perform regularly scheduled monitoring of equipment with predictive technologies and coordinating the necessary maintenance through teamwork and other maintenance and operations personnel. This role may be required to travel to other facilities, interact with vendors, contractors and company personnel. Looking for someone responsible, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. This role will also require working in confined spaces, tight corridors, working around rotating equipment that is electrically energized and elevated equipment.
Duties include:
Monitor equipment ranging from SXEW, powerhouse, water system, IPCC, Mine (Shovels, Drills Haulage) and outlying areas. Perform vibration data collection utilizing current technology (CSI). Utilization of the current software to load, dump, and analyze vibration route date, as well as build and update the associated databases (AP set, alarm sets, etc.) Report building/giving presentations utilizing various software programs, daily planning, including but not limited to MSTs and work orders utilizing the current CMMS. Data collection, analysis and reporting. Learn various RCM/PdM technologies, primarily ultrasonic analysis and the associated software with future development into additional technologies. Support the RCM Program and its continual development; educate other personnel in any area of the RCM program. Communicate effectively to provide, receive, and implement constructive feedback to support the mentoring program. Actively participate with Maintenance and Planning groups.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years hands-on mechanical maintenance, repair/rebuild experience with industrial equipment (Pumps, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, moving and rotating equipment, conveyors, from an operations and maintenance perspective, mechanically and electrically. Able to read and interpret blueprints. Journeyman level ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials. Must have completed academic and practical competencies required and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. Ability to work in a team with high regard for safety and environmental concerns with a strong commitment to policies. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. Working knowledge in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Vibration experience or certification. Prefer familiarity with RBMWare (AMS-CSI) Software. Experience with Emerson/CSI online vibration monitoring system preferred. Experience with RCFA preferred. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without the need for sponsorship.
Offer:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Company housing, plus daily incidental per diem, possible FI/FO 4x1 rotation package, 4 day work week, package can be tailored to support the right candidate. Must be available for 6 months. Potential for longer-term employment may be available but not guaranteed. Must pass background check, drug/alcohol testing, possess valid driver's license. MSHA training provided and covered. All full-time contractors with Brunel are offered a comprehensive benefit package that will start on your first day of employment. Position includes sick days accrued, 3% 401K match.
