Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the reliability and performance of complex electrical infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in diagnostics and automation to minimize downtime and ensure the seamless operation of heavy-duty industrial systems. Responsibilities Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex electrical systems to maximize operational uptime. Perform preventative maintenance and optimization on AC/DC drives, PLC systems, and motor controls. Calibrate instrumentation, field transmitters, and weighing equipment to maintain precise process control. Manage the installation and renovation of power distribution systems and switchgear in accordance with safety standards. Interpret intricate electrical schematics and technical blueprints to guide system modifications. Provide technical mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Qualifications Required Skills Completion of a certified program in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation technology. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical or instrumentation maintenance. Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex industrial electrical systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical electrical prints and schematics. Must possess or be willing to acquire necessary personal tools within 90 days of hire. Preferred Skills Experience with VFDs, HMI, and SCADA integration. Familiarity with low and medium voltage equipment and AC/DC control logic. Hands-on experience with diagnostic testing equipment and HVAC electrical systems. Strong commitment to maintaining rigorous safety protocols and operational excellence.
