Position Summary:
Drive performance. Execute in the field. Support the plan. Deliver Quality. Inside Wireman is a skilled field professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in alignment with project plans, safety standards, and company expectations. Working under the direction of the Foreman, this role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key member of the field team, the Inside Wireman contributes to productivity, teamwork, and jobsite excellence.

Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego County What You'll Own:
Execute electrical installations on commercial projects—conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls—per drawings, specifications, and codes. Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schedules, and specifications to ensure accurate installation. Troubleshoot, test, and resolve electrical system issues to maintain functionality and code compliance. Maintain productivity and quality while supporting project schedules, manpower plans, and company standards. Follow all Cal/OSHA and company safety policies, participate in hazard analyses and safety meetings, use proper PPE, and report unsafe conditions immediately. Complete accurate documentation for timekeeping, materials, and task reporting, while coordinating effectively with Foreman, Superintendent, apprentices, and other trades. Mentor apprentices by modeling safe work practices, proper installation techniques, and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications Skilled and Trained Workforce (Graduate of a CA state certified apprenticeship program) Journeyman Inside Wireman certification (California recognized) Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations Valid driver's license Work Environment This position involves work in active construction environments and includes the physical activities described below. May work either inside or outside in any weather (cold, rain, heat) Work may be noisy, cramped, dirty and poorly ventilated. Hazards include risk of electrical shock and other work-site accidents 40-hour workweek is normal; however, overtime may be offered. Electricians may work nights and weekends Medium physical demands require lifting of 25lbs or less and occasionally lifting up to 120lbs. Must have use of feet, legs, hands and arms to climb and/or balance on scaffolding or ladders Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, sometimes in cramped and awkward positioning Must have use of arms, hands and fingers to reach, handle and feel cable, wires, tools, and other equipment Must be able to see and hear, or have corrected vision, both close and distant, or hearing aid Must be able to distinguish color coded wires Must be able to adjust focus and use peripheral vision and depth perception The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
