$42.00 - $48.00 per hour ProPhase Electric is hiring a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our field crews on luxury and custom residential and commercial projects, both new construction and renovations. Company vehicle and fuel card Company phone Work on high-end Lutron HomeWorks, RadioRA 3, and automated shade systems A professional, supportive team environment Room to grow as the company grows Required certifications: Valid California State Journeyman Electrician Certification Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record Must pass a background check What you'll do: Install electrical systems on residential and commercial projects, from rough-in through finish Work from plans and complete your tasks accurately and on schedule Deliver clean, high-quality work that holds up to inspection and our standard Work alongside and take direction from the foreman Help guide apprentices and less experienced hands when needed Keep your work area and vehicle clean and organized Troubleshoot and solve problems in the field Handle service calls and troubleshooting as needed, including diagnosing and repairing issues at clients' homes Requirements and expectations: Minimum 6 years of documented field experience as a journeyman Strong residential experience, ideally on high-end or custom homes Consistently delivers clean, high-quality work Professional appearance and demeanor Communicates clearly and respectfully with the crew, the office, and clients Reads and works from blueprints, plans, and schematics Strong troubleshooting skills Owns a full set of hand tools and basic power tools Reliable and punctual Able to lift up to 50 lbs A strong plus: Experience with smart home and lighting control systems (Lutron HomeWorks, RadioRA, automated shades), AV systems, and low-voltage networking.
