Certified General Electrician

Certified General Electrician - IE Construction If the Solar industry sparks your interests, IE Construction is the right place for you! The Certified General Electrician is a full-time position and offers room to grow within IE Construction. Responsibilities for the Certified General Electrician Include, but not limited to: Pulling electrical wire including MC Cable, underground feeder wire, etc. Digging trenches and working in trenches Identifying and separating wires by color Installing and securing cables, raceways, and other conductors Carrying material and tools from location to location (possibly up to 75bs) Assisting in moving heavy electrical equipment Electrical terminations Working in electrical panels managing wires Working on extension ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts Additional duties as assigned. Certified General Electrician:

Valid CA General Electrician License or Journeyman License Valid CA Driver's License Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation is a PLUS Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read building plans. Ability to read equipment manuals. Must be able to work on rooftop and be comfortable with heights. Be comfortable kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
