INSTALLER LEVEL
•IV
LEAD/FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITY
Able to perform all the work of a DDC Installer•I plus the following: Must be able to install all type of conduit (up to 2") without supervision. Must be able to install low voltage cable, LVTC + DDC systems from prints without supervision, run crews and delegate tasks. Work must be done in a professional manner and on schedule. FOUR years of experience in the controls trade as a system installer. Under general supervision, performs routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings and personal analysis. Works with "Prime" electrical contractors and subcontractors as required. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Installs raceways, cables, and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards, and customer system requirements. Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed. Must have knowledge of NEC and local codes. Must have knowledge of LVTC Electrical materials. Must have OSHA 30 and current First Aid/CPR certification. Must be able to generate a BOM/takeoffs. May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects. May assist PM/APM generation of RFIs/RFCOs Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments as needed. Must be able to mentor installers with the best industry practices and standards. Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues. Completes paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to Engineering on changes and keeps as-built drawings current. Resolves job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to management as required. Communicates with the customer as necessary upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Adheres to safety programs and policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintains electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.

$30.00•$45.00 per hour
