Your job will involve installing electrical wiring, troubleshooting malfunctions, and everything from a breaker box to a light switch. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, qualified candidates must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. Also, you must be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Your goal will be to execute well functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Required Skills & Abilities Proven experience as an electrician Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems Must know how to prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints Prevent systems breakdown of by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems Fully qualified to safely work on all site electrical and install safety & distribution components (switches, resistors, indoor/outdoor circuit breaker panels). High level knowledge with connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Knowledge of plant safety, environment, and good maintenance practices Associates degree or technical school certification in industrial instrumentation and electrical skills preferred In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws, qualified applicants are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, non-job related disability, or any other protected group status.
