Job Description

Role description: The Electrician is responsible for all electrical work and maintenance throughout the facility. This involves repairs, inspections, and new installations on all machinery.
Compensation and Schedule:
The starting pay rate for this role is $48.80 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Schedule here
Responsibilities:

  • -Install , repair , c alibrat e , and inspect electrical devices , equipment , and circuits in the plant style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Receive and inspect wiring diagrams , drawings , and specifications to resolve electri c al needs style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Repair or replac e faulty motors , switches , control panels circuit breakers , control devices , batching systems , control instrumentation , and other plant electrical and electronic equipment style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Plan and perform work on energized circuits style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Measure , cut , bend , and install fittings , switches , controls fixtures , and wires style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Connect all types of electrical equipment for new installations style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Plan and perform skilled soldering repairs , installation , and calibration of thermocouple and pyrometer
  • controlled systems Minimum skills / qualifications: style="list-style-type:disc
  • -High School Diploma or equivalent style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Journey man level Electric i an experience style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Experience in industrial control , lighting, and wiring style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Must be able to stand for 8 hours style="list-style-type:disc
  • -Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds Preferred skills / qualifications: style="list-style-type:disc
  • -PLC knowledge Compensation The starting pay rate for this role is $48.
