Drying & Storage Electrician/Maintenance

The Drying & Storage Maintenance Electrician performs electrical and mechanical maintenance to support safe, reliable operation of drying and storage facilities. This role handles troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and project support while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, contactors, and motor controls. Support electrical upgrades and facility improvements for new equipment and system changes. Maintain and optimize electrical systems, including API fan automation and drying/conveyance equipment. Ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Support large-scale maintenance and improvement projects with internal teams and outside contractors. Maintain electrical inventory, organize parts and tools, and perform confined space entry as required. Train team members on basic electrical and fabrication skills to support development and efficiency.

Work Environment:

Work is primarily outdoors, with temperatures varying from mild to extreme hot and cold, and background noise ranging from high to low. Position also involves exposure to odors, dust, and mosquitoes. Two years of electrical experience required with additional preferred. Must maintain eligibility to drive on behalf of the company; refer to the Company Driver Policy for more information. Electrical certifications demonstrating proficiency and safety preferred. Familiarity with American Petroleum Institute (API) electrical fan automation systems preferred Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons. Basic interest in grain drying and storage. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and a basic understanding of the principles of Identity Preservation to avoid mixing varieties. Ability to perform basic math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
